Duncan Dokiwari gets fight date

Nigeria’s Atlanta 96 Olympic super heavyweight fighter, Duncan Dokiwari will be returning into the roped square again after his last fight that he lost to Dominic Guin in September last year.

Dokiwari steps in as a replacement for Serguei Lyakhovich who pulled out for undisclosed reasons to face former American Olympian Calvin Brock on May 15 at the DePaul centre in Chicago.

Known as ‘Human eclipse’ the Buguma-Rivers state born Dokiwari was looked upon as a mystery in the heavyweight division with a physique that looks like that from a comic book hero.

The Dokiwari- Brock showdown is a heavyweight bout that seemingly is a worthy HBO opening slot and boxing fans are getting it for free. Dokiwari has a record of 23 2.

His earlier loss was to Fres Oquendo.
