Falcons thrash England in Reading

Rita Nwadike's opener and a brace from Pepetua Nkwocha were all Nigeria's female National team needed to silence her critics in a 3-0 win over England's female National team on thursday night.

Nigeria scored twice in the firsts half through Rita Nwadike and Pepetua Nkwocha, while Pepetua Nkwocha added the third in the second half before being substituted by Blessing Igbojionu in the 89th minute.

Other changes made by the Nigerian side were, Effioanwan Ekpo and Sabi Akudo coming in for Maureen Mmadu and Felicia Eze respectively in the 77th minute while on the dot of 90 minutes, Ogechi Onyinanya and Gift Otuwe replaced Precious Dede and Rita Nwadike.

CONGRATULATIONS! Super falcons, you ve made us proud. I feel the technical crew in charge re doing a great job, pls they should be given a free hand to make the right choice for the olympic proper. All they need is prayers & support to excel in Athens.
