Lobi close camp on Express

Lobi Stars football club of Makurdi has began a close camping ahead of their all important Caf Confederations cup second leg tie against Express of Uganda this weekend

Lobi Chairman, Dominic Iorfa told Nigeriasports.com that the close camping exercise will keep the players focused and put them in a positive mental state before the visitors come calling.

“Our players are determined and understand the importance of the game” he said

“We embarked on a close camping so as to avoid distraction from all angles and the players have shown a good understanding and self determination to excel”

“They have their mobile phones switched off to avoid communication from the outside; this sacrifice is to repay the Government of Benue state that has shown us great support in our quest to win the Confederations cup for the state and Nigeria”

The Nigeria FA cup kings only need a 1-0 victory to make the second round and Coach Maurice Cooreman says it is an achievable goal after all.

“We need just a goal but I believe we can do better than that playing at home”

“My players are in high spirit and a sign of this they’ve shown in the first leg in Uganda and we shall go a step further in the second leg” he told Nigeriasports.com
