Ranger FC Leave for Libya

Davidson Owumi, team manager of Enugu Rangers international FC has assured the club's fans of a better performance in this year Confederation of Africa Cup (CAF) as the team leave for Libya tomorrow to battle Anassr FC of Libya in their first leg match of the on going CAF Cup billed for Friday in Libya. Rangers who crashed out in the Semi Finals of the same competition last year, are expected to perform better this season.

In a phone chat with nigeriasports.com,  Davison Owumi disclosed that their early
departure to Libya tomorrow is to enable the player’s settle and acclimatized before the match.
He noted that they would not want to take any chances in this year’s edition as many Nigeria soccer fans are hoping on the team.

He further stated that the Rangers management has been able to release fund for the player’s welfare, adding that their sign-on fees would be paid soonest. Owumi, also said that the players are motivated  and in a high  spirit, saying that would go far to make sure they do the nation proud this season.

 Rangers International, alongside Enyimba Fc and Lobi Stars of Markurdi would be representing the
country in this year’s CAF Competition, which begins this weekend.

 Reigning Champions Enyimba FC of Aba would begins their title Defense against Diaraf de’Dakar FC of Senegal at the Aba Township Stadium on Sunday. While Lobi FC of Markurdi battle Express FC of Uganda, billed for Uganda on Friday.
