NFA Maps out Friendlies for Falcons

The Nigeria Football Association (NFA) has outlined a series of tough friendly matches for the super falcons which would starts from April 24th, in order to ensure good performance in the Olympic Games.

The team would do battle with the England national team in Manchester on the April 24th  before moving to tackle the Sweden national team, China National and finally engaged Australian national team who are
currently training in Hamburg, Germany.

Speaking with nigeriasports.com, secretary female football Emmanuel Adesoya disclosed that the team NFA has decided to give out its support to make sure the girls has good performance in Athens.

Apart from the friendlies, he said that NFA has agreed to boast the players by increasing their allowances with good treatment, as they carry out the Nigeria flag in football event.

“Falcons are going to represent Nigeria both in male and female football. All they need is just support
from all Nigerians especially NFA and the Ministry, Right now NFA has promised to give every support that would boast their moral throughout the Games,” he said.

He confirmed that those countries have agreed to play Falcons in friendlies before the Games kicks off in
August 13th to Sep 16th in Greece. Adesoya also stated that coach Mabo would invite more
talented players  to beef the team, as those who not physically fit would not make the team list.
