Henry Akinwande returns home

Former WBO heavy weight Champion, Henry Akinwande who just renounced his British citizenship will be fighting Antoin Nel, the South African Champion in an IBF international title in Calabar, Cross River State.

The show is being put together by the state Governor, Donald Duke.

No place to Hide
Former WBO champion Nigeria born Herbie Hide will reportedly face ex-British and Commonwealth heavyweight champion Danny Williams on April 23 in London.

Both boxers have been at each other’s throat for a while now and finally they get the chance of settling scores inside the roped square.

The bout will be a ten-rounder for the "European Union" belt, not to be confused with the more recognized "European Boxing Union" belt held by Luan Krasniqi.
