Pillars leads Union Bank to Tunisia 87-76

Nigeria premier league champion, Kano Pillars basketball club Monday night displayed champion stuff for the second time running to go past Union Bank basketball club, Nigeria second representative in the FIBA Africa Zone-3 qualifiers for men.

The Pillars from Kano won in all four quarters of (21-20, 22-21, 17-15 and 27-20) for a cumulative scoreline of 87-76 points

The explosive match test the preparedness of both sides for the final round of the 23rd FIBA Africa Champions Club for Men coming up in Tunisia next month.

The classic game proved once again the superiority of the Coach Sanni Ahmed tutored Pillars over Union Bank basketball club whom the Pillars beat to the Nigeria premier league title earlier this month at the sports hall of the Sani Abacha stadium, Kofar mata, Kano.
