At last Nigeria on medal list
Damola Osayemi and three of her colleagues in the ongoing 2008 Beijing Olympic in China has finally put smile in the faces of Nigeria as the quartet won her first medal, a bronze in the 4 X 400m for women.
Although the beginning was not a better one for Nigeria yet we should not give it to mother luck as the final lap was one the Nigeria ladies capitalizes on as tournament favourite, the Jamaica girls did not finish the race because of baton exchange the same fate that befell the United states team in the semi final stage. This feat by the quartet will be a boost for the Olympic football team of Nigeria as they take on their Argentine counterpart in Saturdays epic final showdown of the football event of the Olympics. 0
