NFF deny "one set of jersey" story

The Nigeria Football Federation has come out to deny the rumours making the rounds that the country's U 23 team have been campaigning at the Olympics with only one set of jersey so far.

Describing the news as ridiculous, the NFF through its spokesperson, Ademola Olajire, disclosed that the team is presently campaigning at the Olympics with more than enough jerseys.

"Those who came up with the story are definately not aware of what comes up before a match is played. At the pre match meeting, two sets of jerseys must be presented before one is chosen. We have been playing in green but we also have white jerseys as well", revealed Bolaji Ojo Oba, the Secretary General of the NFF.

The dream team takes on their Argentine counterparts in the final of the Olympics on Saturday.
