NFA Holds Retreat For Chairman, Secretaries

A two-day retreat is being organized by the Nigeria Football Association for Chairmen and Secretaries of the State Football Associations, beginning from Thursday in Makurdi, Benue State.

Most of the State FA Secretaries have already arrived in Makurdi for the event, which will see the Secretaries take the stage on Thursday while it is the turn of the Chairmen on Friday.

Deputy Secretary General (Technical), Dr Emmanuel Ikpeme said the theme of the two day retreat is ‘Optimizing Football Development Through the State Football Associations.

The retreat comes on the margin of the 2008 Coca-Cola FA Cup Grand Finale, which will set the otherwise serene atmosphere of Makurdi on fire on Saturday.
