First Deepwater Discovery Six-A-Side hold Sunday
The Sports Complex of the University of Lagos is agog with activities toward Sunday First Deepwater Discovery Six-A-Side Basketball Competition.
The one-day competition according to the initiator, Nike Carew is aimed at giving the players another form of competition and showing of skills. Nike, Managing Director of Nyk Concept says her outfit came up with the competition in order to contribute to the growth and development of the slamming and dunking game. The First Deepwater Discovery competition tagged ‘Bounce 9na – Jump Zone will feature ten teams of six players each with one of the player as sub and will adopt all FIBA rules. Players who are willing to be part of the competition are expect to go through the registration process which will last for two hours between 07.00 and 09.00 hours while hostilities begin at 10.00 hours. The over-all winner of the First Deepwater Discovery competition will smile home with N150, 000; first runner-up will pocket N120, 000 while the 2nd runner-up will go home with N90, 000. 0
