FIFA unban Madagascan FA
World football governing body, FIFA today in Zurich, lifted the ban it impossed on the Madagascan Football Association (FMF) over government interference.
The decision to unban the FMF was taken After an Emergency Committee meeting which took place FIFA headquarters. The committee noted with satisfaction the decision by the Administrative Chamber of the Supreme Court of Madagascar to annul the ministerial decree of 9 March, which dissolved the FMF and consequently prompted FIFA‘s sanction against the Madagascan Football Association. As statutory order has been reinstated at the FMF and the legitimate bodies reinstalled, the FIFA Emergency Committee has decided to lift the suspension on the Madagascan Football Association. 0
