U-23 know opponents April 19
The draws for the football event of the olympics takes place on April 19 in Beijeing, China, reports nigeriasports.com.
The draw proper which is for the male and female football events will take place a day after the last qualifier in the female football event would have emerged. The match which is to be contested by Africa and comebol will see Ghana take on Brazil after Nigeria picked the sole ticket in Africa at the expense of the black queens. The Nigerian team, represented in both categories should be hoping for a favourable draw though she stands no chance of being seeded. Samson Siasia and Jossy Lad, both in charge of the male and female teams respectively, are expected to be present at the draws. 0
