Dream Team IV Dares Eagles
Samson Siasia’s Dream Team 1V will take on home –based Super Eagles in a potentially –explosive friendly game at the National Stadium, Abuja on Wednesday.
“It’s a pity the granting of visas came late and we could not go to America now, but I assure you we’re ready to make the most of what we can afford here. I think it’s going to be a good game for us. My boys are ready to confront any opposition now”, said the former international striker.
Siasia, who scored a wonder goal for Nigeria against Argentina at the 1994 World Cup, says he is never afraid of the big occasion and is looking forward to the big day against the Amaglug-glug.
“I have been told that six of their players featured for South Africa’s senior team at the Olympics. That’s good; it means we’re in for a tough match. I love tough games; my boys love tough games.
“We’re preparing much harder than we’ve done for any previous game and I can tell you that we will do the country proud on March 26”, Siasia said.
Siasia’s team is camping at the Millennium Hotel in Abuja and there are 30 players in camp as Siasia expects his foreign legion to start arriving at the end of next week. But some players, including Everton striker Victor Anichebe, will not arrive until 22<SUP>nd</SUP> March.
