Ivory Coast beat Nigeria by a lone goal on Monday at the Sekondi Sports Stadium.

The goal was scored by Salomon Kalou after 67 minutes.

Nigeria's closest chance came through a Taiye Taiwo freekick that hit the cross bar in the first half.

Two years ago the Ivorians beat Nigeria in the semi final through a Didier Drogba goal.
