FIBA Africa donate 1030 Balls to FEBBA![]() The donation ceremony took place in the conference room of the Ministry of Sports and Leisure in Ouagadougou with the country's Sports and Leisure Minister, Jean Pierre Palm in attendance. The ball handling over was done by the Secretary General of FIBA Africa, Dr. Bilé to the FIBA frica Zone-3 country led by its Vice-President Yameogo Souleymane and other guests. FIBA Africa Secretary General says the donation are part of developing actions to African National Federations which started years ago and will be intensified. Through these aids to FEBBA, FIBA Africa intends to promote and develop Basketball practice in Burkina Faso. Program of assistance to the national Basketball federations in sports equipments launched by FIBA Africa is made annually and will extend to all African Basketball federations. The programme which began in 2003 with 24 countries are part of the programme of assistance among which 15 have already received their balls and other form of assistance from the continent basketball ruling body.
