Intercontinental Bank Sponsors

This is coming barely three months after the banks’ hugely successful sponsorship of the Governor Oyinlola Invitational Golf Tourney in Ibadan.

Explaining why Intercontinental Bank is sponsoring the meet, the AGM, Wealth Management,  Mr Lawrence Mba stressed that Intercontinental Bank is committed to long term relationships that are mutually rewarding with it’s clients and partners ,hence the decision to be part of this years event.

“We have come to identify the noble game of Golf as a good vehicle for deepening  our relationship with high networth clients, especially. We are particularly in the sponsorship of this MicCom Golf Tournament to show
support for Engr. Ponnle, the chairman of the Golf Club who is a long standing client of our bank”, said Mr Mba .

“By extension, we are also providing a congenial atmosphere where our clients and our staff can let their hair down in an atmosphere devoid of the stress of business life. Afterall, it is said that a healthy mind is found in a healthy body and the game of Golf indeed helps in maintaining a healthy body.”

Mr Mba explained further that the act of building a healthy mind in a healthy body is consistent with Intercontinental Banks’ holistic approach to wealth
management and private banking. “Our concept or philosophy of wealth management emphasizes a total package involving wealth creation, wealth preservation and wealth transfer alongside risk mitigation”, he added.

Already, the Golf course is wearing a new look and the excitement and passion, which the tournament has generated in Ada, is unprecedented. Top Nigerian golfers are expected to take part in the MicCom PRO-AM Golf Tournament, which will last till November 4.

Winners in both the Pro and Amateur categories will go home with various trophies and prizes.
