City league: Raprors auquire Demola Fagbemi
As the fourth edition of the Lagos City league gets closers teams have intensify preparation in order to out do one another, one of such club is Raptors basketball club who just acquire a guard Ademola Emeka Fagbemi to beef up it team.
According to the young Fagbemi who has been training with the modest outfit for about a year and half that his intention to show that he has what it takes to compete against bigger opposition. “I am ready for the new season so as to show case my skill and I want to assure fans of Raptors basketball club that they’ve got a dependable guard to take their modest team to a higher levels. “I am also not afraid of the bigger teams in the league, infact it will be a great feeling to compete against these clubs because with that one is bound to learn one or two basketball tricks that will be useful to my game. “My greatest wish is to take my game to Colleges in the United States of America where I can combine academics and basketball. Raptors head coach, Charles Ibeziako says the coming of !9-year-old Ademola to his team is a good omen. “Ademola is a good player who can play both as a point guard and off guard, he is young lad who is ready to raise the stake when opportunity present itself, I have no doubt in my mind that he will go places in his career.
