Ancelotti Hails Incredible Pirlo

The Milan Coach was extremely satisfied with the way his team performed, in particular with Andrea Pirlo who had an extraordinary game during his side's 2-1 win over Benfica on Tuesday evening.

Carlo Ancelotti was very pleased with how things went at the San Siro Tuesday night against Benfica as the Rossoneri defeated the Portuguese side to kick-off their Champions League campaign in style.

"These are the games that I would always like to see my team play," declared Ancelotti. "It was a nice and well-played game.

"We scored straight away, against a very young team which played without some important elements. They have felt the weight of this game, whereas we did very well."

In particular, the Milan coach was very happy with Pirlo's performance who scored a goal and set up another.

"With his goal and assist, and the perfect management of the balls he had, he was incredible," he said. "He's unchangeable with his characteristics."
