Eagles to play at 3pm

The Nigerian national team will once again change their usual home kick off time when she confreonts the crocodiles of Lesotho on Saturday 8th September in Warri, Delta stste.

Unlike the usual 4pm kickoff time that had been the tradition for her home matches over the years, the Super Eagles come Saturday are expected to start the nations cup qualifying game against the visiting Lesotho at 3pm inside the Warri township stadium.

According to Solomon Ogba the local organising committee chairman, the 3pm kickoff time is to allow time for the post match conference and other activities meant to make the organisation of the game a success.

"We are also using the match to showcase Warri and Delta state in general to the world. Our stadium is also one of the best in the country and that was one of the legacies of our past governor, James Ibori", Ogba further stated.

The match is expected to attract a gate fee of N500 and N1,000.
