Eaglets in Colombia test

The Nigeria U-17 team will Thursday face perhaps their toughest battle in the ongoing U-17 FIFA world cup as she confronts Colombia in a winner take all battle.

The second round match is expected to be hotly contested by both sides with a proven goal scoring record.

Both sides have so far recorded 9 goals so far in the competition with the Nigerian side conceeding the least of just one goal as against 5 by Colombia.

The South Americans finished 3rd in group F, qualifying only as best losers while the Nigerians finished top in their own group.

The Nigerian striker, Chrisantus Macauley is also the Tournaments top scorer so far with 5 goals.

Earlier on Wednesday, Africa lost out to Europe as Tunisia, finishing with 10 men, lost 1-3 to France.
