Afrobasket Final ‘07: Luanda agog for final

The city of Luanda capital of Angola is agog with activities for today’s grand finale of the 24th FIBA Africa Championship for between host and defending champion, Angola and Cameroon.

Starting time is 19.00 local time at the 6,873 capacity Cidadela gymnasium, Luanda in the Angola national stadium.

Fans are seen holding the Angolan national flag with so many brides, which go a long way to show how much importance they attached to their national team that has won the Africa Championship eight out of the last nine editions.

The match has become the centre of group discussion among men, women, young and old with so much confidence that Cameroon will be consume in the first two quarters of the match.

Ticket for the all important final was reported to have been bought out by anxious fans that cannot wait to see their darling team win the trophy back-back five times in a row having successfully defended the title since 1999.
