will November 24, 2007, play host to international mountain racers as the state governor Liyel Imoke has promised to dole out over USD200.000 as prize monies for this year's Obudu international mountain race. A total of USD227.000 was spent last year as prize monies for participating atheletes with the first placed winner smiling home with USD50.000. The competition which is not only an avenue to showcase one of the rich tourist potentials of the couontry, but also to let the world know that Nigeria is a safe and good country, judging by the presence of top mountaion racers in lst year's edition.
