Enyimba, Sharks tango over player
Enyimba football club of Aba has reacted to the sudden disappearance of Imeh Benjamin, whom club officials claim is their bonafide player.
The media chief of the African Champions, Tonnex Chukwu told www.nigeriasports.com that the lad, Imeh Benjamin, suspected to be with the Sharks team in Port Harcourt is their player having cleared him from Niger Tornadoes of Minna for the sum of one million Naira. Tonnex went further to deny reports that Chairman, Anyansi Agwu discovered Benjamin while playing for Sharks in a preseason tie against Bussdor in Port Harcourt. “The boy was cleared at the end of the last football season and his continued stay with Sharks is illegal,” Tonnex Chukwu said.
