Chevron Partners Football Collage of Excellence
In its bid to the development of soccer in Nigeria, Chevron recently commenced a good working relationship with the Football Collage of Excellence, located at Illorin, Kwara State Nigeria, as the oil giant dolled out $15 million to the collage.
One time technical adviser of the Super Eagles and Rector of the Collage, Clemence Westerhof said, the relationship between the collage and Chevron will commence in September 2007, when new intakes will join the students who are currently on vacation.
“Chevron has just partnered us and we hope more private sectors will come in soon because the Football Collage we are running now will soon be the biggest in Africa” Westerhof concluded.
