Akwa UTD FC Eyes Omokachi
In order to ensure good performance in the next
Globacom Premier League Season, the management of Akwa United Football Club of Uyo is set to hire the service of the former Super Eagles striker and Nasarrawa United FC coach Daniel Omokachi for the season. Source close to the club told nigeriasports.com
disclosed that the club has been in a close door
discussion with Ex-International concerning the job.
According to him, from the look of things, Omokachi is set to grab the offer if the both parties meet with terms and condition of the contract.
s at Monday, Daniel’s manager has been on close talk with the management over the job issue but from the look of things I believe things will be positive, “he said.
He further confirmed that coach like Omokachi with all his experience both in the field of playing abroad and coaching as well in the national team would make a good impact in the challenging ahead.
“We strongly believe that if somebody like the Bull
handles Akwa United with all his experiences in Europe and National team they will win a continental ticket next season. He is well disciplined, he handles players with care above all is goes for the best players for good result, he added.
Meanwhile Omokachi further confirmed that he is aware of such moves, adding Akwa United FC has not met with
him yet.
