Flying Eagles will not dissapoint-James Peter

The Assistant Secretary, Technical of the Nigeria Football Association, (NFA) in charge of the Flying Eagles; James Peters has rated the team to the Under 20 world Cup higher and better than the Godwin Uwua team as they depart for Canada Thursday night.

   
Speaking with the nigeriasports.com in Lagos, Peters said the present team is not not only good but will do well in Canada as against the believe of many Nigerians. According to him, the team has matured from the time of African Championship held in Congo to the present form and going by the present form, the team is sure of going places during the championship.

 "The team has matured enough to go places, as you can see, they are even better than Uwua's squad, and I can assure you and other Nigerians that the team will not disappoint in Canada" he said optmistically, while speaking with the nigeriasports.com before the departed to canada, Skipper of the team Ezekiel Bala also assured that himself and his colleagues are in top form and fully prepared for the Championship.

The Lyn Oslo striker was of the opion that "with the preparation so far the team is set to surpass the Samson Siasia squad to the last edition of the championship, though it was a big task but we hope to lift the tropy", he said The team left with 21 players and five officials.
