BERTI VOGTS Explains absence at SUPER 4

Head Coach of the Super Eagles, Berti Vogts has finally opened up on why he was not around in the just concluded Globacom Super Four Tournament which Enyimba of Aba won.

Even as Nigeria prepares to tackle Les Mena of Niger Republic in the on going CAF 2008 African Cup of Nations due to take place in Ghana, Sunday 17th June, 2007,

According to Berti Vogts, he was not aware of the competition since the NFA did not invite him. “ If the NFA had invited me for the Super Four, or informed me about it, I would have adjusted my traveling arrangement and come four days earlier than I came” he said.
