Dolphins are injury hit

Victor Ezeji
At least four of Dolphins FC's top players may have been ruled out ahead of their Sunday's CAF confederation cup match against Hussania Agadir (HUSA due to injury.

Nigeriasports reports that the team's full back Joe Eyimofe left the camp yesterday (Wednesday) to treat his bad ankle. Eyimofe told the coaches that he would not be able to play on the ankle, as it was best for him to treat it against the second leg. Ivorian import, Dosso Alhassane is also injured with a back problem as well as Igho Otegheri who has a swollen ankle and may not play.

However, it was not all gloomy for the team, as  central defender, Echzona Anyiche who left for trials in Finland returned to the club two weeks ago and is currently training with the team in Calabar. Also, the team's top striker Victor Ezeji returned on Wedensday to join the team after his wedding on saturday.

Coach Onyedika  told nigeriasports.com "it is great to see Ezeji back in the team, if he trains well and his fitness level is okay he may start in the game. Actually, our problem is not in central defence where Emma Godwin, Samaila Suleiman and Mike Simon  hold sway but in full back where Eyimofe just pulled out injured.  Nonetneless, we hope to snatch a home victory Sunday"

Meanwhile, A thirty two member delegation of players and officials of HUSA FC arrived Lagos on Thursday afternoon and proceeded to Calabar later.
