Dolphins Land in Bangul

CAF CUP: A 30 man delegation of Dolphins FC of Port-Harcourt arrived Banjul Tuesday 27th Feb. 2007 ahead of their first leg African Confederation cup encounter with the Hawks of Gambia billed for Saturday 3rd March 200, at the Banjul township stadium, Gambia.

Reports reaching nigeriasports.com indicates that  the team is lodged at the Sargeics Hotel in  Senegambia and that the hotel meets all international standards.

A spokes person of the Club told nigeriasports.com,  "the team has nothing to complain about in terms of accommondation and allowances, and the boys are well motivated to give their all in Saturday's match".  On arrival the players were given a thousand dollars each by the sports commissioner, Allwell Onyesoh who knows the importance of getting a good result in away games
 
The Gambian Football Association was on ground  to recieve the team at the airport,  to recieve team also, were the  Nigerian community in Banjul as well as the Nigerian High Commission.  It was a carnival like atmosphere as Nigerians came out in their numbers to welcome their own team to Banjul.

Members of the NFA supporters club all dressed in their uniforms also came out to welcome the team.
