It is Nigeria vs Ghana in the finals

Nigeria humbled Cameroun 5-0, while it a dramatic 87th minute penality for the Ghana Black Queens to snatch a 1-0 victory against hard fighting South African Banyana Banyana.


     Perpetua Nkwocha this evening at the Warri Township Stadium with a spectacular hat trik performance gave Nigeria Falcons a world cup berth as the Super falcons mauled the Indomotable Lionesses 5-0 in their semi finals match.
  
  The first 30 minutes of the match saw the Falcons in array of misses including a 11th minute breathtaking miss by Perpetua Nkwocha and 30th minute attempt which could not ne converted by  same Perpetua and Stella Mbachu when they could not convert  a begging chance created by Cyntia Uwak.
  
  But in the 33rd minute the Falcons seemed to have found their rythm when Cynthia broke the jinx and sent in the opener.Mbah Rigoberte came close to eqaulising but  Christie Goerge was on target to clear before Dede saved a repeat kick from Mbah who came in to replace captain Anong Bernadette 25th minute of the game.
  
  Perpetua Nkwocha made it two in the 46th minute of the game to seal the first half 2-0.
  
  Two minutes into the second half, Perpetua Nkwocha found the net again through a flick from the left flank and got her hat trick in the 54th  minute after baeting an offside trap. Effionwan Ekpo made it five in the 64th minute.
  
  The Cameroonians at this point became physical turning the match into a war front withZouga Francine intentionaly traping on Ifeanyi Chiejine who was wheeled out unconscious and quickly rushed to hospital. The action earned Zouga Francine who did not show any sign of remose a red card.
  
  Speaking at the end of the match, Perpetua Nkwocha said it had been her target to repeat her performance against Cameroon in 2004 edition of the competition when she scored the three out of the five goals with which the Falcons won the Lionesses at the finals in South Africa.
  
  "This hatrick is something I did against this same team in 2004 and it was my target as we prepare for this match. I am happy my dream come true. I hope to score more goals in the finals"
  
  Also speaking, the Coach, Ntierro Effiom said he is happy with the performance of his ward saying that their performance has shown that the team improve with every match.
  
  He however said that the finals on Saturday will be a different ball game but whatever happens that Nigerians will still have cause to celebrate.

Tthe Ghana Black Queens ran away with a last minute 1-0 victory against hard fighting South African Banyana Banyana.
  
  The goal, a 87th minute penalty was converted by Florence Okoh after a series of incussions by the South Africans which were halted by goal keeper, Gladys Enti who won the heart of the fans with her superlative saves.
  
  Speaking at the end of the match,Ghana's Romanatu Tahiru, said they are not afraid of stars in the Nigerian Side as names don't playfootball, believing that the field will determing who wins the match,
  
  The coach of the Ghana side, Paha, said he will take every match as it comes.
  
  South Africa following this development will play against cameroon for the third place on friday, at the Oleh Township stadium
