CAF vs 5th AWC LOC

The CAF president Issa Hayotu arrived Nigeria today as he chaired the CAF vs 5th AWC LOC novelty match that ended 3-2 for CAF. The hilarious match brought live back to the Warri Township stadium.

The match which was watched by the president of the Confederation of African Football(CAF) Issa Hayatou, saw the likes of Nigerian Football Association (NFA) chairman Alhaji Sanni Lulu,Director of sports
development in the Ministry of sports and Social Development, Dr Amos Adamu,NFA boardmember,Chief Taiwo Ogunjobi in the LOCsquad ,dazzling the CAF side but uck was on the football body's side.

The visitors who hadthe like of former Super Eagles coach Chief Adegboye Onigbinde, NFA second vice chairman, Amanze Uchegbulam, among others, and their hosts provided some comic relief after seeing to the conclusion of the first round of the Warri2006 AWC,which is now in the semi-final stage.

Former NFA chairman,Brigadier-General Dominic Oneya was in the centre directing affairs. In the first half of the game, Dr Adamu was a sight to behold as he made daring saves and chief ogunjobi showed what makes his teeming supporters call him skippo during his days but they lost steam in the second half.
