Masai in for Top-50 Camp

Nigerian-born Denver Nugget director of international scouting, Masai Ujiri is in the country of his birth for the second edition of the Radaar Hoop/Nestle Nigeria Top-50 basketball camp opening Sunday in Lagos.

The former Nigeria international guard and assistant coach of the Nigeria U18 national team is one of the brain behind the camp which started last year with the 50 most promising young male players in Nigeria.

The camp served as recruiting ground for local clubs and foreign schools especially in the United States of America.

The camp is one that most kids ages 16 to 19 looks forward to with great enthusiats and it attracts coaches from both the local league, the NBA, High schools and colleges in the USA and some European countries.

Top among the personalities that will grace the camp this year are influencial sports agen and president of the BDA Sports Agency Bill Duffy LavoDrama Avicet of the Cleveland Cavalier among others.

Notable among the players expected at the camp are Nigeria U18 national team captain Orseer Ikyaator, his teammate at Ebun Comets basketball club Michael Ohiero, Ayodele Ahmed, Daniel Daudu, Solomon Alao, 2006 Basketball Without Border most valuable player award winner, Harry Ezenibe, Nosa Omorogbe and a host of others.
