Nigeria's foremost automobile manufacturers, Peugeeot
Automobile of Nigeria ,PAN, is partnering with the
Local Organising Committee,LOC, of the 5th African
Women Championship, taking place in Delta State from
October 28 to make the biennieal fiesta a huge
success.

*25 COMPUTERS TO BE INSTALLED FOR JOURNALISTS AT EACH
VENUE
Head of Media Sub-Committee of the LOC, Aisha Falode
told newsmen that at a meeting between the top
Executives of the company and the Chairman of the LOC,
Ambassador Thaddeaus Hart in Abuja, Peugeot promised
to release 250 cars as well as 50 buses for the use of
the officials of Confederation of AfricanFootball,CAF,
the Local Organisisng Committee as well as journalists
who will be covering the event at the four venues of
Warri, Oghara, Ughelli and Oleh.
"This is a wonderful partnership and we in the LOC are
happy that Peugeot have proved once again that they
are responsible and trustworthy corporate citizens.No
doubt this remarkable gesture will go a long way in
making the Championship a huge succes", said Falode
who is also a CAF Media Committee member.
Meanwhile, renovation work at the Oghara Township
stadium has reached an advanced stage while the
equipment that will be used at the venues have started
arriving.
Only recently, the Honourable Commissioner of Sports
in Delta State, Chief Solomon Ogba stated that 25
computers complete with internet facility will be
installed at each of the venues to make the job of
journalists covering the Championship easy.
He also assured that the additional office to be
created for Administration through the use of a
Portacabin will be ready with a week to the
Championship
