CAN U18: Mali, Benin others inlast four

The Benin under 18 women team are not prepared tp go down easilly as they have booked one of the four ticket for Friday semi-final at the sports hall of the Stade L'Mite here in Cotonou, Benin Republic.

The young ladies of the small West Africa country will squqre up against tournament favourite Mali in the first semi-final Friday while the second semi-final will be between DR Congo and Ivory Coast.

Only five countries out of the eight that earlier showed interest in the championship which goes to confirm the apathy most African countries showed towards women basketball in the continent.
