Ambassador charges Falconets The quater-final match, the first in the knock-out series of the ongoing FIFA U-20 female world cup is expected to be keenly contested by both sides but the ambassador has ordered the girls to go for an all out victory. "I just returned from Nigeria and the president told me to tell you he is very impressed by your performances. The president watches every game and he is with you all the way wishing you return back home with the trophy", he disclosed. "The African president also told me to inform you that a victory for you is a victory for Africa as you are no longer representing Nigeria alone", he further emphasized. "We on our own part will do everything possible to ensure an all round success for you in this competition and I will personally be there to cheer you to victory on Saturday", he concluded while paying a visit to the girls in training on Friday. The Embassy once again hosted the team two days ago availing them the oppourtunity to eat some Nigerian dishes as a way of motivating the ladies and making them feel at home away from home.
