Supporters storm Russia

Victory as they say has many fathers thus it's no surprise that the fooball supporters club of Nigeria have finally made their way to Russia in their numbers, reports nigeriasports.com.

The suporters club members whose absence had all along been felt by the girls, arrived Moscow Thursday ahead of the quater-final clash between Nigeria and Brazil.

"We have about eleven of us from Nigeria but we had earlier sent an advance party, four of them actually to help mobilize Nigerians for the important game against Finland, thanks to God it was a success", Abayomi Huesu, secretary general of the club revealed to nigeriasports.com.

"We thank the Russian embassy for their co-operation and now that we are here, one can be rest assured that no samba dance can intimidate our team. We are here to do our usual thing and ofcourse add colour to the event", he concluded.

Nigeria is billed to take on the female side from Brazil on Saturday in the first quater-final match of the FIFA U-20 women world cup.
