NFA Board member tasks Chukwu on reluctant Eagles

Obafemi Martins
As the Super Eagles intensify her preparation for the forthcoming Nation Cup in Tunisia, a member of the NFA Board Chive Kaave has advised the team handler to disregard any player not willing to turn up for the three-week fiesta.

This is coming on the heels of the recent withdrawal of international striker Obafemi Martins from the Tunisia bound squad.

According to Kaave, the nation’s blessed with abundant talents therefore, there is no need bothering about the absence of just a player from the team.

“Obafemi Martins is just one amongst hundreds of footballers we have who can take us to glory at the Nations Cup, so why beg one person as if we have not been playing football before he came on the scene?”

He said the withdrawal of Obafemi will not in any way affect the preparation of the Eagles since in his words Chukwu has a pool of players to pick from.
