Rivers Sports Commissioner stands by Abdulahi

Rivers State Sports Commissioner, Allwell Onyesoh has described as unethical the move by Sports Minister Musa Mohammed to terminate the appointment of Musa Abdullahi as the Chief Coach of the National Under Twenty Three team.

Onyesoh told www.nigeriasports.com  that being an employee of the NFA, Musa’s appointment can only be terminated by the Glass House.

“Musa Abdulahi needs to be commended and not crucified at a time like this when Nigeria has gotten into the crucial stages of the Olympic football qualifier,” Allwell Onyesoh said.

He said such action has led to what Nigerians describe as fire brigade approach by the National team.
