CAF inspectors for Nigeria![]()
According to CAF, a" five-man committee, which includes Danny Jordan ( south Africa) , Walter Gagg ( FIFA), Dr. Adan El Guindy( CAF) , Abel Mbengue ( Cameroon) and Denis Mumble (South Africa), will start a twenty- day inspection visit from 22nd of July to 10th of August 2006 to bidding countries for African Nations Cup 2010." The team will assess in details each country’s sporting facilities such as stadia, hotels ,transport , hospitals, telecommunications and security .The program is as follows: · 23/07/2006 to 26/07/2006 inspection in Angola President: Issa Hayatou ( Cameroon ) ,1st Vice-President General Seyi Memène ( Togo ) ,2nd Vice-President, Molefi Oliphant (South Africa) , Amadou Diakité (Mali) ,Adoum Djibrine (Chad) . Others include:Dr. Amos Adamu (Nigeria) ,Mohamed Raouraoua (Algeria) , Moses Baransananiye (Burundi) , Suketu Patel (Seychelles) ,Hani Abu Reda (Egypt) , Thierry Kamach (Central Africa Republic) ,Almamy Kabele Camara (Guinea) and Celestin Musabyimana (Rwanda) . Each CAF zone is represented with two members . In May 2006, CAF Executive Committee short-listed Angola, Equatorial-Guinea-Gabon ( Joint bid), Libya and Nigeria. The other countries that were not pre-selected for the second-round are : Mozambique , Namibia , Senegal and Zimbabwe . The eight bidding countries presented their dossier last May, before the CAF Executive C1 Mauritius, Libya 2-1 Eritrea, Mozambique 1-2 Zambia, Benin v Congo (withdrew), Lesotho 0-3 Malawi, Uganda(withdrew) v Ethiopia CAF development programme Contract with Africa 0
