Lagos Referees Society Launch Publication

The Lagos Football Referees Society has added more clout to its activities with the unveing last weekend of its Newsletter tagged the ‘LRS Whistler’.  At a well attended ceremony chairmed by Engr. Emmanuel Badipe who commended the football referees for having a foresight with the formal launching of the newsletter at the National Stadium, Surulere, Lagos.

The Newsletter, which is intended to be published bi-annually, would serve as an avenue to publicise the activities of the Society and any new information from Lagos State Football Referees Council, the Nigeria Football Referees Association (NRA), NFA, CAF, and FIFA. The next edition is due in September,2006.

According to the association's Publicity Secretary, Efonema Ikpe that the Lagos Referees will do all within its capacity to sustain the tempo of the publication.
