Enjoli ready for the Tigress call-up

USA -born Nigerian International female basketballer and Stamford University graduate Enjoli Izidor is hitching to star for her country's National team the Tigress. Enjoli who is currently playing professional Basket in Turkey told nigeriasports.com in an online chat that she has all it takes for the Tigress's Shirt. Excepts below

We understand you are currently playing pro- basketball in Turkey, why would you like to play for Nigeria national team?

It's always a thing of pride to play in the National colours of one's country, and I have been playing with Americans and Europeans my whole life,  I'd like to get a shot at the Nigerian basketball experience.

Have you seen the Nigerian National team play? What can you bring into the
team?

I unfortunately have not had a chance to watch the team play.  But I did
get to play against National players like Macdabene and Udoka this last season in Turkey and was impressed.  I'd love to get a chance at playing with the both of them in Tigress team.

I'm a 6'0" 3 guard with both perimeter and inside experience.  I've played every position from the 1 to the 4 so I can handle the ball in transition, shoot from the outside as well as make srong post moves and rebound.

What would say are your greatest assets as a player?

I am tall but quick, so I can drive to the basket and finish because I am
stronger and bigger than most wings.

You played in Greece before moving to Turkey, Which clubs did you play for in Greece?

Megas Alexandros,  I played this last season for Erdermirspor in Turkey, and I also played for Olivais in Portugal in 2004

What did you study at Stanford?

I studied architecture and urban design there.

Do you plan to return to it, after your pro career in Basketball?

I will either pursue a career in architecture or in woodworking.  I've
recently got back into the hobby of mine, and love making wooden furniture.

Hello beau,i appreciate your efforts to play for your fatherland unlike those guys(footballers) who enjoy ditching their fatherland but end up being ditched by their adopted homes ,a lesson for us al no where like home.Peace Sister.
