The technical Adviser Bayelsa United Football Club of Bayelsa, Jose Donbraye has expressed confident of picking a Continental ticket this season.
Donbraye told nigeriasports.com after their 1-1 draw
in their first league match outing against Dolphin FC
in Port Harcourt that his team has not started
displaying their skills yet that what we saw against
Dolphin FC is just the beginning of their success in
this year's season.
According to him, with the kind of support that was
giving to them by the state government through the
honorable sports Commissioner Douye Dire that the club
would be able to sign the most experienced players in
the country.
"We have the best support ever this season by the
state government, thanks to the new sports
Commissioner Douye Dire for making things easy for us
and the team. I must tell you the truth, there is no
player we want to buy today that we can not because we
are well equipped and ready for action.
"What you saw today is just the beginning of the good
football from Bayelsa United and with the way we kick
off is the way we will end this season "ACTION".
"Our aim is the continental ticket and we must work
hard to pick up that ticket by the grace of God. We
have good players, well treated, well paid so I don't
see anything that will make us get out of the track, all
we are praying is for God to be on our side and he is
there for us," he said.
