FCT win basketball bronze beat Delta 77-75

National Sports Festival male defending champion, Federal Capital Territory, FCT, won the basketball event bronze medal as consolation for its effort.

The Abuja boys who were decision by enterprising youthful Bayelsa boys in one of the semi-finals game out dunked Delta State 77-75 to win the bronze.

The third place encounter which was inconclusive Sunday due to heavy down pour in the third quarter with scores standing at 48-46 points was decided Monday morning with the Delta State boys being their own enemy throwing away six free throws with less than a minute to the end of the encounter.
