Abraka Turf Set for Easter Internaional Polo

Notably foreign players like Howard Hipwood, Monty Gershon, Frankie Menendez, Bruno Ciponeri and Jamie Lee Hardy, the most experienced English player, who would be visiting Nigeria for the first time, would be competing.

Top Nigerian polo patrons and popular players like Sayyu Dantata, Dawule Baba, Prince Albert Esiri, Senator Toks Ogunbanjo, Yinka Akinkugbe Musa Yahaya, Bashir Musa, Mamuda Shehu and Gabriel Omale, among others are listed for action. Traditional prizes at stake during the fiesta include the Patron’s Trophy, which are the event’s top prize, the International Gold Cup, the Belgian Ambassador's Cup and the Conservation Trophy.
