Nigerian League kickoff postponed again

The Nigerian football league board has for the third time postponed the kick off of the 2006 Nigerian Premier League, nigeriasports.com can report. Chairman of the board made this known to newsmen on Wednesday night during the draws for the Premier league held in Nigeria’s capital, Abuja. According to Obaseki, this was at the instance of some of the clubs participating in the league. “Yes, some clubs complained that they have key players taking part in the national sports festival that is on between the fifth and fifteenth of April so we had no choice but to move the league’s kick off forward.” Obaseki also said the fact that most clubs are yet to conclude their registration is another reason the league was postponed. “Apart from giving the clubs more time to register, we just feel they should also have more time to prepare for the league.” The 2006 football season now kicks off on the fifteenth of April.

Adie (Nigeria)
with great gratitude and heart felt, I must confess that I am so much happy and excited being opportune to add comment or post a message on this web.
Actually, for now, I just want to say that I am young tallented player training in a beginner's club here in my town, Ogoja, cross river state of Nigeria.
My dream is to become a football in some due time.
I will be very happy if I am given the opportunity to exibit my tallent in any of this Nigeria Premier League Club's.
I started playing football in a street even during the time of raining season. I grew up to become the captain of a team that was organised by my church.
I participated very well, in my duties.
not only that, I was given the best player award in my church team.
I play from defensive midfield (4).
To conclude the whole thing for now, I will be very happy if the Nigeria Football Association (NFA) will help me ascertain my dream and continue from where I am at the moment.
Thanks and my regards to the Nigeriasports.com
I am grateful for the indulgence.
I remain loyal.
