Akide roots for Kudaisi, Nwadike and ChiejineFalcons of Nigeria, U.S. based striker, Mercy Akide, says the invitation of former players like Yinka Kudaisi, Ann Chiejine, Rita Nwadike and Eberechi Okpara is a good one on the part of Falcons Chief coach, Ismaila Mabo. Mercy Akide told www.nigeriasports.com that the only thing that the Falcons side lacked at the last World Cup was experienced players. "I told Sam (Okpodu) that the World Cup is for Women and not girls but his mind was made up on what to do." Akide, who is expected to hit the Falcons camp on the 11th of January said most of the young players at the World Cup were never able to rise to the big occasion. "As much as I am not against the development of of new talent, I dont think expereince should take a back seat." "Any country that has players like Ann Chiejine, Eberechi Okpara, Yinka Kudaisi and Rita Nwadike should use them." The Falcons camp opens on the 5th of January for a crucial Athen's Olympic Games qualifying match against the Black Queens of Ghana. 0
