Black Queens face Falcons without Sackey
Africa Footballer of the year, Alberta Sackey will be missing from the line up when Ghana's Black Queens take on Nigeria's Falcons in the second round of Africa's Olympic Games Qualifiers in Ibadan on the 30th of January.
In a list of twenty six players released by Ghana's Football Association, Alberta as well as other US baased players were left out, probably because acedemic committments. The Black Queens' camp opens on Sunday on Saturday, January 3, one day before Nigeria's camp opens in Ibadan. Ghana's players include Fati Mohammed, Gladys Enti, Mary Neequaye, Mavis Danso, Yaa Avoe, Aminatu Ibrahim, Patricia Ofori, Patience Kpobi, Dina Annan and Lucy Takyiwa. Others are Genevieve Clottey, Florence Akyeah, Akua Anokyewaa, Gloria Foriwa, Gloria Aikins, Helena Arthur Mensah, Sabina Mensah, Tahiru Romanatu, Patience Sackey, Florence Oko, Belinda Kanda and Adjoa Bayor. Henrietta Anni, Abdul Rahman Safia, Lydia Ankrah and Osumanu Aziz complete the list. 0
