3SC denies Gasper sack
The management of shooting stars football club of Ibadan, Tuesday denied the rumoured sacking of prolific striker, Ladi Gasper, reports nigeriasports.com
The Oyo state government owned club which narrowly missed a continental ticket last season, debunked the strikers dismissal as widely speculated in the media, claiming the player remains an Oluyole war lord. "We were shocked to receive the news of his alledged sacking ourselves and even the player hurried down to the club to even debunk the news, claiming he never granted any interview of such magnitude as claimed in the media report.", Jubril Arowolo, the club media relations officer disclosed. "Ladi Gasper remains one of our best players and he is in our plans for the forth coming season which we hope would be better than the previous", Jubril Arowolo, further added. "The club has intensified preparations for the coming season and we have been in camp in the last three weeks, playing some friendlies including the last one against Gateway FC. We are hopeful of a superlative season", the club PRO, concluded. Ladi Gasper was at the forefront of a 3SC continental qualification last season, scoring vital goals before bowing out to injury which sidelined him for the greater parts of the season. 0
