The club’s management also announced former green eagles international striker, Ifeanyi Onyedika as new Technical Adviser to replace Musa Abdulahi who has joined Wikki Tourists of Bauchi.

Amongst notable players dropped by the club’s Technical crew ahead of the new season are Ochuko ojobo and Joe Eyimofe who the management described as lacking in commitment to the cause of the club.

“They are on a sort of probation and if they show seriousness they may be reconsidered.” Chief Coach Philip Boamah told nigeriasports.com.

Other players dropped from the team are Prince Aguma, Micheal Ibi, Yakubu Attah, Haruna Musa, Odili Iyasere and Jacob Akhionbare.

Osunwa heads list of departing players

Top scorer in 2005, Kelechi Osunwa tops the list of players leaving the club for the proverbial greener pastures as he pitches tent with El-Hilal of Sudan.

Efosa Eguakun and Endurance Idahor also leave for Sudan to join El-MArreikh.

Full back, Kennedy Chinwo moves to Europe to join Sheriff FC of Moldova while on the domestic scene, goalkeepers Austin Brown and Uche Akubuike join Heartland FC of Owerri and Kwara United respectively.
